The long-awaited re-release of Chris and Denny's first album featuring Roseville Fair, Kilkelly and The Moving On Song.

Originally released in 1995, Chris Sherburn and Denny Bartley’s debut album is still a much loved album amongst fans and critics alike. Recorded before either Jane Sherburn or Nick Scott joined their ranks, Last Night’s Fun! captures the remarkable interplay between two musicians in the bloom of a relationship that continues to be one of those rarest of matches made in music heaven!

Tracks include live favourite Roseville Fair and Denny’s legendary version of Kilkelly. The album also features a young Kate Rusby and John McCusker, plus Tom Napper, Alistair Russell, Andy Seward and Jon Strong.

Tracks:
1.Willie Coleman's/Morrison's/Langstrom's Pony
2.The Moving On Song/Lafferty's Favourite/The Lads of Laoise
3.The Silver Spire/Return to Milltown
4.The Roseville Fair/Concert Reel
5.Old Joe's Jig/The Mist on the Mountain
6.Kilkelly
7.Máirtin Byrne's Waltz
8.Cleveland Park/Tamlyn's/The Bucks of Oranmore/Bunker Hill
9.The Longford Weaver/The Moving Cloud
10.Knock na Gow/The Laing Shift/The Banks of the Allan
11.Starry Night.

"It’s just tops! – Having it re-released and available again AND the album itself! It is everything anyone would want in terms of music, especially folk music; it’s traditional, it’s fulfilling in variety, substantial in melody and played with such sympathetic talent.

Chris and Denny are a dream team – Chris’s ability on the accordion unprecedented, Denny’s guitar playing up there with the best and his unique vocals adding that indefinable quality that is the pinnacle of the class act it is. Their arrangement of such traditional songs as The Moving on Song and The Roseville Fair are just so beautiful and in keeping with everything you want folk music to be.

It’s been said time and time again how fortunate we are that these two found each other (and later Nick Scott) and this is a great reminder – if it’s not already in your collection – it should be!"
